Quartz Resin
Benefits of a Quartz System:
Slip resistance:
The textured surface created by the quartz aggregates enhances slip resistance, making it an ideal choice for areas where safety is a concern, particularly in wet or slippery conditions. Examples include pool decks, bathrooms, commercial kitchens, and locker rooms.
Durability and protection:
Quartz floor coatings provide excellent durability and protection for your concrete floor. The added quartz aggregates increase the coating’s resistance to impacts, abrasions, and wear, extending the life of your floor.
Easy maintenance:
The seamless and non-porous surface created by quartz floor coatings is easy to clean and maintain. It resists stains, spills, and bacterial growth, making it a hygienic flooring option.
High-traffic areas:
Quartz coatings are well-suited for areas with heavy foot or vehicle traffic, as they can withstand the wear and tear of daily use. Examples include commercial spaces, industrial facilities, garages, and busy residential areas.
Noise reduction:
The quartz aggregates in the coating can help absorb sound and reduce noise transmission, making it a suitable option for environments where noise reduction is desired, such as multi-story buildings or shared living spaces
Aesthetic appeal:
Quartz coatings offer a visually appealing finish that can be customized to match your space’s design and aesthetic requirements. The quartz aggregates come in various colors and sizes, allowing for a wide range of design possibilities.
Our Quartz System is a durable and attractive flooring option that incorporates quartz aggregates into the coating.
With two grit options , this textured coating is a durable, slip resistant, temperature regulating and aesthetically appealing choice for any outdoor space!

How We Do It…
Surface preparation:
This initial step involves cleaning, repairing, and profiling the concrete surface to ensure proper adhesion of the subsequent layers.
Moisture Vapor Barrier (Project Specific):
A MVB primer is applied to the prepared concrete surface to improve adhesion, fill pores, and create a strong bond between the concrete and the coating system. Especially with higher presence of moisture.
1st Pigmented coat:
The base coat is the primary layer of the system, consisting of materials such as epoxy, polyurethane, or polyaspartic. This coat provides the main protective and functional properties, including durability, chemical resistance, and wear resistance.
Decorative quartz:
Include decorative elements, such as flakes/chips to enhance the aesthetics and add texture for slip resistance.
2nd Pigmented coat:
The base coat is the primary layer of the system, consisting of materials such as epoxy, polyurethane, or polyaspartic. This coat provides the main protective and functional properties, including durability, chemical resistance, and wear resistance.
Decorative Quatz:
Include decorative elements, such as flakes/chips to enhance the aesthetics and add texture for slip resistance.
Topcoat:
The final layer is a topcoat or sealer, which further enhances the system’s properties, providing UV resistance, additional chemical resistance, and a specific finish, such as gloss or matte.
